My Target Finds
Today’s blog post might be my favorite one yet ...and why? Well, mostly it's because I'm shocked that the items I'm sharing are from Target. The quality of this sweater ribbed midi dress is amazing and only $10! Every time I walk into Target, I find new things that I love, whether it's pieces for my home, kids finds, or even a little shopping for myself.
This dress is one that can be worn almost all season and even in the Winter (okay, maybe in the Winter if you lived in Texas!!!). We all know that Dallas weather is rather unique and has a mind of its own :). One day it's hot and by nightfall we have freezing rain!!! The dress also make a great transition piece into Spring since it isn't too heavy or light. This ribbed midi-dress has grey/orange/purple stripes and a slit on the side that can be unbuttoned and super cute! Definitely great for layering. I'm wearing a small and would say it's true to size.
While I was browsing through the aisles, I decided to pick up this light cardigan to complement the dress. Now this cardigan is not as thick so when temperatures drop you can definitely be sure that I will be bundled up with a scarf and a heavier coat. For look 2, I picked the shade of grey but this cardigan comes in other colors too. I also really love the length and can definitely see it paired with jeans in my near future. For this look, I decided to wear sock booties and an African basket bag.
My last find for this post that I'm really proud of is this clutch in cognac. I mean, how cute is this? When I saw it, I instantly thought of my Uggs and how great it would look together but then realized I can also pull it off with this dress and sneakers as seen in look 2, for a more laid back and casual look. Clutches are such a fun way to add character to an outfit and you can never pass up a good deal like this one which is under $25. Universal Thread which makes this clutch also have a few other wristlet purses like this one.
As a mom, I am mindful of how much I spend on myself. I think most moms are so it's nice when every now and then, I find key pieces that are classic and reasonably priced. These are pieces you can afford without feeling utterly guilty and still look beautiful :). As always, all opinions are my own.
Which look do you like better ...Look 1, 2, or 3?
