Recently, we had such lovely weather that it called for the perfect snack to eat outdoors. After thinking of what to make that will require minimal effort and still be a healthy option, I decided on a guacamole dip.
I love guacamole dips because they require a few ingredients and they are such a healthy option for a snack. Some restaurants even have guacamole on their menu as an appetizer dish.
With so many recipes readily available these days, it can sometimes be overwhelming finding the right recipe that is both authentic and tasty.
This guacamole recipe is actually my husband's. He loves avocado and usually adds freshly chopped jalapeño into the mix. It is spicy but oh so good! As with every recipe, you have the option to modify it and make it more suitable to your taste buds!
optional: Jalapeno, chopped
Mash sliced avocado into chunks and add rest of chopped ingredients to the mix. Squeeze lime and add salt and pepper to taste. Top with cilantro. Transfer to a serving bowl.
